The reopening date is for the Sunset Heights Family History Center is September 30, 2013. We are also planning an open house for staff on Thursday September 26, 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm so that the staff take a look at the new facilities and get the new door codes. This date is not definite as it depends on the progression of the renovations taking place. We will keep you updated.
Our first staff meeting will be October 8. 2013. We are asking all staff to attend staff meetings. This is an important part of your family history center staff assignment. We understand that there will be occasional times when you may need to miss the meeting but we encourage you to arrange your schedules so you will be present. We feel it is necessary to have this inservice/ business meeting monthly in order to become a cohesive staff with the skills necessary to help patrons.
We have exchanged the room with the server for the old nursery room in order to have more space. Presently the main room has had the old tables removed and is being painted. We will have new tables as well a new white board.
